Rob Burlison
Rob joined Sovereign Strategy in 2008 as an Associate Director. His areas of expertise include the financial services sector, sport policy, the Olympics and the voluntary sector.
Rob works on behalf of clients at a range of governmental levels specialising in British political relations and European/International government relations. He has a detailed knowledge of the legislative process in Britain and the intricate workings of Westminster.
Rob joined Sovereign after two and a half years as Campaign Director at the Council for the Advancement of Arts, Recreation and Education. In this role he had a broad remit including managing the companys political and media affairs. He has also served as an economic planning officer at the Department for Work and Pensions, with a national remit, specialising in labour market issues.
Rob graduated in 2004 with a degree in Politics and Economics, which included a dissertation on the changes to the union movement in post communist countries.
Outside of work and politics Rob enjoys playing Football and Golf, travelling and also supporting Newcastle United.
